Will Consumers Sell IPhones By September?

People will soon be selling iPhones and upgrading to the latest model of the range, if current speculation proves to be accurate.

The Telegraph has reported its belief that the iPhone 5 is likely to be released in September, after Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) passed without mention of the device.

It noted that the firm has, in the past, used the meeting to unveil the latest iPhone – including the 3G, 3GS and 4 models.

One source – 9to5Mac – is claiming the iPhone 5 will be released in the ninth month of the year, with testing said to be in its final stages.

This is a view the newspaper seemingly agrees with, with it raising the possibility that the WWDC will now be used to focus on software before a new iPhone is launched each September.

The iPhone 4 was released in the UK and four other countries last June, prior to being rolled out across the world.
