Trade in mobiles for enhanced Google Earth
People who would love to enjoy access to the updated Google Earth could trade in their mobiles and switch to one of the latest Android devices.
According to the Google Mobile Blog, the tool has been specially optimised to run on the operating system.
Google Earth allows people to take a look around the world at cities, sights and natural wonders, all of which have been captured on film by the search engine.
The publication noted that a 3D effect has been added to buildings, making structures appear more realistic than ever.
In particular, the updates have been tailored to improve the experience for those using tablet devices, as the larger screen on these allows the best images to be viewed.
The blog went on to identify the Colosseum in Rome as one of its favourite buildings to search for.
Network Three this week announced it is to stock the Samsung Galaxy S II, which runs on the Android Gingerbread 2.3 system.
