Top tablets may tempt people to trade in mobiles
People who would like to trade in their mobiles and join the tablet revolution may wish to choose one of the top devices on the market, such as the HTC Flyer or the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Both of the models have been assessed by T3 expert Hannah Bouckley, who rates each in a series of categories.
Starting with design and build, the author notes the Flyer has the edge as it is made from aluminium with accents, meaning it is a "stand out" model.
However, in the next section – power – the PlayBook takes the honours, with Ms Bouckley explaining it is equipped with a dual core processor and has the ability to let users switch between video, web browsers and games.
And it is the BlackBerry model that takes the title of best tablet, in the expert's eyes.
She concludes its use of the Honeycomb platform as well as exceptional power and usability make it a great device for anybody.
HTC recently released a trio of new smartphones – the ChaCha, Desire S and Wildfire S.
