Switching To Windows Phone 7 Will Be An Option For Majority Of Mobile User

Selling a mobile for money with Mazuma and using the cash towards switching to the Windows Phone 7 operating system is something the vast majority of the world will be able to do by the end of 2011.

Andy Lees, president of Microsoft's Mobile Communications Business, tells the Daily Telegraph the firm is aiming to roll the platform out to 88 per cent of the planet within the next ten months.

Currently, Windows Phone 7 is available to approximately 32 per cent of people, he notes.

Some mobile phone enthusiasts may be excited by planned upgrades that were set out by Steve Ballmer, chief executive of the computer giant, at the recent Mobile World Congress.

He said new versions of the system will include an integrated Twitter tool and access to documents stored on Skydrive, the newspaper explains.

Nokia devices will soon be powered by Windows Phone 7 after the Finnish phone company and Microsoft signed a partnership agreement.
