Spotify music app comes to Windows Phone 8
Owners of Windows Phone 8 (WP8) devices can now get their hands on Spotify Beta - an app made for music lovers.
The tool is available for free download from the Windows Phone Store, although full accessibility through a premium subscription comes at a cost.
All those who install the app will be able to take advantage of a free 48-day trial, so that they can get a taste for the features before splashing the cash.
Members have access to an extensive music catalogue, which they can use to create playlists to be listened to over an internet connection or offline.
Users can also see what their friends have been enjoying or share new tracks with fellow fans via the inbox.
The variety of apps available for WP8 mobile phones like the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X is ever-expanding, meaning the devices are likely to become more popular among consumers.
Games featured on the multimedia storefront at the time of writing include the charming physics puzzler Cut The Rope as well as Xbox Live-compatible Kinectimals.
