Sony reveals Xperia M
Multiple mobile phones have already been released by Sony this year, including the Xperia SP and Xperia Z handsets, but now another has been unveiled.
The Sony Xperia M, which is marketed with a "new price point" by the firm, but it's still unclear what that figure will be.
Judging by the specifications though it could be a more budget-friendly device from Sony, complete with a 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a five-megapixel rear-camera.
The smartphone is expected to arrive in several colour options, including purple and yellow, as well as the regular black and white variants.
It also sports a number of connectivity possibilities with Wi-Fi, aGPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC all being available, though it does lack storage options, only offering users 2GB of space.
Nothing has been confirmed about the price or where the device will be distributed so users will have to wait to see where they can try the Japanese handset.
