Sony Ericssons Cedar Keeps Users Affordably Connected

The Sony Ericsson Cedar allows easy and fast browsing for social networking website and email access, but "at an affordable price", the handset maker said.

Revealing its new Cedar handset, it stated the Widget Manager 2.0 enables a convenient way to stay connected to social networking sites, with access to these available through the stand-by screen.

It can also be connected to a laptop via a 3.5mm jack and a port, global marketing manager at Sony Ericsson Quentin Cordier said.

"Sony Ericsson Cedar is an affordable GreenHeart phone which allows consumers to easily connect to their various communities whether it's for work, fun or play," he noted.

GreenHeart mobile phones by the handset maker have environmentally-friendly features including a low-power consumption charger, recycled plastics, compact packaging and an e-manual.

Sony Ericsson also recently revealed its Yendo with Walkman , which it describes as the "first full touch Walkman phone" for a high-quality music experience.
