Selling mobile for money can fund purchase of new Motorola smartphone
Consumers who sell a mobile phone for money in 2011 may wish to put aside the cash to pay for a new device set to be released by Motorola and Orange.
The Motorola ATRIX has been confirmed today (January 6th) and will aim to become the first handset that truly is a mobile computer.
It will be designed to bring "unprecedented" technology to a handheld product that will make it more like a laptop than any mobile before it.
Andrew Morley, vice-president of marketing at Motorola Mobility, says: "We want to empower individuals, giving them new ways to stay connected, informed and entertained at home, on the job and anywhere in between."
The phone will feature a dual core processor – each running at 1Ghz – making it one of the most powerful devices ever to be released on the mobile market.
Orange recently announced the results of research it conducted into handset use, concluding there has been a surge in the use of mobiles in bed.
