Sell mobile and invest in iPhone for NHS advice
People who sell mobiles in order to raise funds that can be used to purchase an Apple iPhone will find top medical advice is soon at their fingertips.
The US manufacturer has confirmed that an NHS Direct app – designed and developed by Mobikats – is now available online.
It features a tool that allows users to answer a number of questions before being given specialist tips on how to treat a condition.
There is also the potential to generate a call from a nurse, who can advise on any problem.
According to the developer, the NHS Direct app has already been downloaded more than 1,700 times, despite being released less than a week ago.
It is hoped that as well as giving patients immediate information, the app may help to free up space in NHS wards.
Black & Decker recently launched its own app, including a number of DIY tips and product information.
