Samsung to bulk up Galaxy S5 battery
According to Phone Arena, Samsung is planning to majorly improve the battery for its Galaxy S5 mobile phone.
Many were hoping that the Korean handset would appear at the MWC 2014 next month, but more recent reports seem to indicate that it won't.
However, it is still expected to launch in the middle of March and more details have leaked about the contents of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
According to the tech site, the flagship handset will feature a 2,900mAh battery, which would be a vast improvement on the 2,600mAh one seen in the current Samsung Galaxy S4. The report also indicates that the battery will come with much faster charging capabilities too.
Phone Arena said that the Samsung Galaxy S5's one will be able to charge from zero to full in under two hours.
A bigger and better battery would make sense as various rumours have indicated that the handset will come with a juice-draining 2K screen.
