Samsung rolls out Android Jelly Bean to Galaxy Note
Samsung Galaxy Note owners should soon benefit from the latest main version of the Android operating system, Jelly Bean.
The South Korean manufacturer is working with mobile phone operators to roll out the platform upgrade, so that customers can benefit from a number of improvements.
Users will be able to download the update over-the-air using an internet connection, or by plugging in their device to their computer and utilising the Kies desktop software.
Benefits include a faster and smoother performance; the Pop-up Play feature, which allows owners to watch a video in a small window while composing a text message; and a host of new widgets.
Despite these enhancements, owners might be eagerly waiting to trade-in their old mobile phone-come-tablet to purchase a newer model.
Rumours are circulating that Samsung has the Galaxy Note 3 in the pipeline, which is likely to boast an impressive range of features and an improved design.
