Samsung Omnia range unveiled
Consumers looking to sell mobilephones like the old Samsung Omnia may be interested in its successors.
The South Korean manufacturer announced this week that it will launch four new devices that will bear the name of the touchscreen device - with each designed to appeal to a different type of user.
It explained the Omnia II would boast a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen with "crystal clear" quality, as well as a five-megapixel camera, DivX support and both video recording and editing.
The Samsung Omnia LITE was highlighted as something of a messaging-focused model with multi-push email and web options, including 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi.
Finally, the Omnia PRO B7610 and B7330 were designed to help keep the work-life balance in check, with each carrying 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0 and W-Fi.
All of the above use Windows Mobile 6.5 as their operating system and join the Google Android-powered Samsung Galaxy i7500 announced recently by the group.
