Samsung launches Galaxy S Advance

An increasing number of people could be looking to try and recycle their mobile phones in order to get their hands on the new Galaxy S Advance.

The company states that the new smartphone strikes a balance between style, power and performance and will be made available in Russia from February before a gradual rollout in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America and China.

It will be powered by a dual core 1.0 GHz processor and will have a four-inch Super AMOLED display, which provides "stunning" visuals. As well as this, the device will have a five megapixel camera.

“The Galaxy S Advance adds to the successful track record of the Galaxy smartphone range with a phone that combines power and style with all the versatility of Samsung’s Hub services,” said president of IT & mobile communications division at Samsung JK Shin.

Last week Apple was a dealt a further blow in its attempts to have the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet banned as its appeal was rejected in the Netherlands.
