Samsung Handset May Encourage Trade Consumers To Get Cash For An Old Mobile

Samsung has revealed the launch of the Genio Slide, its latest handset in its range.

Consumers could consider mobile recycling in order to get the handset which is available in the UK from Vodafone. The network will offer the mobile phone exclusively for a month.

Samsung is aiming the phone - like others in its Genio range - at younger customers and they could be tempted by features including a QWERTY keyboard that can slide in and out, a full 2.8-inch touchscreen, a 3-megapixel digital camera, Wi-Fi and easy and instant access to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Vodafone is currently offering the handset for free to those who sign up on a two-year, £15 a month plan as well as customers on a £25 per month, 18-month plan.

It has recently been reported that Vodafone enjoyed a successful opening day of sales for the Apple iPhone.

Those who have signed up to get the phone may want to recycle their old mobile for cash.
