Samsung Galaxy S5 to carry supercamera?
We've already heard rumours today (October 8th) that there could be an Active version of Samsung's next mobile phone, but now speculation has turned to what else could be on the Galaxy S5.
According to Patent Bolt, Samsung could be massively-increasing the quality of images that users are able to capture in its next range of smartphones.
The website thinks that the company are developing a new 13-megapixel sensor, which can capture images at eight times the brightness of the current models on the Samsung Galaxy S4.
It means that the company, like Nokia with its Lumia 1020, is trying to improve the quality of photos taken in low-light conditions. If the rumours are true, it would match the likes of the HTC One.
As well as appealing to low-light conditions, images should also be less blurry as the the new camera sensor carries greater anti-shake support. According to the report, it will also be battery-friendly so users can make the most of their smartphone's power.
