Samsung Galaxy S5 may have Android and Tizen variants
Although unconfirmed by the company, leaks are suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be the next mobile phone to be issued by the manufacturer.
We've already heard rumours the device will come with a 64-bit processor chip to contend with Apple's iPhone 5S, but now it appears the next Samsung Galaxy handset may have both Android and Tizen versions.
It seems the South Korean company is keen to support the Tizen operating system but doesn't want to turn its back on Android yet. This could be a wise move from the manufacturer as its operating system has proved popular with customers and helped it gain domination of the smartphone market.
Samsung is unlikely to switch from the Android operating system just yet as the next release, KitKat 4.4, appears to be just around the corner. An October release date has been indicated recently.
If the company sticks to its pattern for releasing new smartphones, users could expect to see the Samsung Galaxy S5 in March 2014.
