Samsung Galaxy S4 to feature 3D camera?
Samsung has prompted yet more rumours about its eagerly anticipated Galaxy S4 mobile phone by filing a patent relating to a 3D camera.
The South Korean manufacturer has applied for a trademark on a logo which suggests it has developed exciting new photography and videography technology.
Information indicates that the software will be able to convert 2D images and footage into 3D and vice versa, giving users more flexibility.
With Samsung expected to debut its new high-end handset at its Unpacked event on March 14th, it is possible that the advancement will be included.
Rumours also indicate that the camera will boast at least a ten-megapixel specification, since its predecessor, the S3, offered eight megapixels.
Smartphone manufacturers are increasingly focusing on delivering customers advanced camera systems, as taking shots is one of the most favoured features.
The HTC One recently impressed with the inclusion of an Ultrapixel snapper, which facilitates brighter pictures in low light, while the Nokia Lumia 920 offers optical image stabilisation.
