Samsung Galaxy S4 rejects octa-core in UK
The octa-core version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile phone looks like it won't be available to customers in the UK as the company is ditching it in favour of 4G.
The new handset by Samsung comes in two variants, a quad-core and octa-core version. However it seems that only the - modest in comparison - quad-core version will be arriving in UK stores.
A company spokesperson told Techradar that the selection of whether a quad or octa-core will be shipped depends entirely on the market.
"In the UK the Galaxy S4 will be available as a 4G device with a 1.9GHz quad-core processor."
Although people assumed that the UK would get both versions of the much sought after new handset Samsung never officially confirmed it. However British customers can look forward to the Galaxy S4 being 4G enabled, although if you're not on the only 4G network available in the UK at the moment, EE, you will have to wait until later this year to harness the power.
