Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to get 20-megapixel camera
It appears as though Samsung may be upping the ante when it comes to its camera offering in its Note range of mobile phones.
According to ET News, the Korean company is planning to include a massive 20-megapixel camera in one of its future devices.
The news providers reported that the high-end camera sensor won't be released until the second half of 2014 so it's unlikely that it will show up in the Samsung Galaxy S5. This supports previous rumours that indicate the next Galaxy flagship will come with a 16-megapixel camera.
A 2014 Q3 launch may put it out for the Samsung Galaxy S5 but it could very well fall in-line with the release date of a Galaxy Note 4. If this speculation was to come to fruition, it could mean that Samsung would be on a more level playing field with its rivals.
Nokia leads the pack in the camera stakes with its 41-megapixel sensor in the Lumia 1020, while the Sony Xperia Z1 sports a 20.7-megapixel camera. In comparison, Samsung's Galaxy S4 and Note 3 both feature 13-megapixel shooters.
