Samsung expected to shine at Mobile World Congress
Mobile phone manufacturer Samsung will likely be "one of the stars" at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week.
This is the claim of gadget website T3, which picked the ten phones it expects to shine at the mobile phone industry's biggest event.
"The Tocco Ultra Edition has already been unveiled at the head of the pack, but we should see more budget range phones and there are strong rumours of another Bang & Olufsen handset appearing," the publication said.
Gordon Kelly of TrustedReviews claimed this week that the Tocco Ultra Edition was announced early not because Samsung feared it would struggle to grab the headlines at the Mobile World Congress, but because the manufacturer believes it is a product worth shouting about.
Other mobile phones that people may wish to watch out for in T3's opinion are the Toshiba TG01, the Nuviphone G60 from Garmin and Asus and the rumoured BlackBerry Gemini.
The Palm Pre, Nokia e75 and Sony Ericsson Hiraku are among the other potential standouts, while bit things are also expected of LG and Motorola.
