Rugby Fans May Benefit From Pre World Cup Mobile Recycling

Rugby fans heading to the World Cup in New Zealand this month might be wise to recycle their mobile phones before they leave the UK and sign up to a deal with Three.

That is because the network has announced a brand new tariff for using data roaming services while in New Zealand, where the tournament is to be held.

It is offering a discount of almost 80 per cent on the cost of using the internet in the southern hemisphere country from tomorrow (September 9th).

"By getting the data price for roaming in New Zealand down to the same rate as roaming in Europe, Three's customers can continue to stay connected and share their experience," explained Three's marketing director Thomas Malleschitz.

He added that smartphones are now a necessity for keeping in touch with loved ones and accessing the latest news.

England's first match in the World Cup is scheduled for Saturday, with Martin Johnson's men set to take on Argentina.
