Review looks at easy-to-view budget LG model
One of the latest phones from LGmobile could be useful for consumers with impaired vision, it has been suggested.
The South Korean manufacturer's KF300 model was put to the test by Sandra Vogel of the Trusted Reviews website recently - who said although it was clearly an entry-level device, it did have features that would be useful to some.
Described as surprisingly lightweight, she explained that by incorporating a range of font sizes to the handset's user interface, shoppers would have a model that should always be easy to see.
A large set of buttons, as well as "decent battery life and great ergonomics" were among the other facilities that could make the device popular.
Ms Vogel added: "I'm not sure the largest fonts are entirely suited to its small screen, but if your eyes need larger fonts you may be happy with the compromise."
The KF300 also has a two-megapixel camera and an FM radio - which could interest those who have recently recycled mobile phones and are looking for a low-cost handset with just a few multimedia options.
