Review highlights Nokia E55 keypad
The Nokia E55 is a device that may be of interest to those looking to sell mobilephones for a device more focused on messaging, if one expert is to be believed.
Frank Lewis explained in a review this week that the Finnish manufacturer has equipped the new model with an innovative keypad that has two alphabetical options on each button.
In his article for Cnet the writer went on to say that although this poses problems at first, a bit of practice should have users up to speed in no time and overall it "works surprisingly well".
However, Mr Lewis concluded by sating there was much more to the mobile than an interesting way to send texts and emails.
"It's also amazingly slim for a smartphone, has very long battery life and offers good messaging features, making it easy to recommend," he said.
The Nokia E55 uses the Series 60 3rd Edition operating system and has a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, USB and MicroSD support, as well as a 3.2-megapixel camera.
It was announced this week the firm had acquired an international network provider for travellers named Dopplr Oy.
