Retro Games Are A Favourite Of Mobile Phone Users

A trio of apps have been highlighted by an expert that could satisfy mobile phone users with a passion for the past.

Ian, author of the Nokia Conversations blog, explains the three apps in question have made it into his review of the week because of a "heavy influx of retro-gaming classics" in the market.

The first game to have been revitalised by the brand in app form is Pac-Man, which dates back more than 30 years.

However, "this new rendering retains all the instant appeal and frantic gameplay that were trademarks of the original", the writers asserts.

Secondly, he notes the re-emergence of Trivial Pursuit - the popular family board game - that can now be enjoyed via a Nokia smartphone.

And finally, Ian suggests the Tetris Revolution app as one that many people may wish to download to their mobile phone.

Recycling a mobile phone and using the money to splash out on a Nokia handset may be one of the shrewdest ways to go about enjoying the technology.

Leading Nokia devices include the N900 and the long-awaited N8, due for release in the coming months.
