People who sell mobile 'can use iPhone to improve their food habits'
Those who sell a mobile in order to switch to the popular Apple iPhone will find a new app helps them to revolutionise their eating and shopping habits.
Food Lion has released the tool, which is designed to trigger a range of benefits in terms of healthy eating and visiting a variety of stores.
It will alert users of when particular fruits and vegetables are in season, as well as offer the opportunity to build a virtual shopping list.
There will also be a feature that allows people to find the right shops for them and view the weekly special deals.
"We figured with the recent surge in smartphone use and an expected increase in 2011, it was imperative we do this. It allows customers to interact with us when it's at their convenience," Food Lion's spokesman Benny Smith states.
The iPhone 4 – the newest model of the Apple product – was released in the UK in June.
