People should learn new EU mobile phone caps
With the EU's recent regulation changes capping the amount people can be charged for using mobile phones on the continent coming soon, people are being urged to learn what the new rules are.
In a bid to tackle bill shock - the term used when people are charged extortionate amounts of money on their monthly bill - EU officials made the change earlier this month.
The new proposals are set to come into effect on July 1st and will limit the amount that people can be charged for phone calls and on how much data they can use.
A spokesperson at Firstnumber said the changes could mean savings of up to £800 for typical businessmen and they urged people to learn how they can benefit.
"This news is great and since the initial proposals in March the goal of eradicating the current divide between domestic and foreign mobile charges is the only way forward, with millions of consumers to benefit," they added.
