Orange 'fulfils ambition' with iPhone 3G and 3GS launches
Orange has asserted that it is fulfilling an ambition by launching iPhone 3G and 3GS on November 10th – and the models might be suitable trade-ins for people who are looking to sell their mobile.
The two phones will be available in the network provider's stores from 07:00 GMT and consumers will be able to choose from pay monthly and pay as you go price plans.
Chief executive officer of Orange UK Tom Alexander noted that more than a quarter of a million customers had registered their interest in the handsets on the company's website since it was announced they would be available on Orange.
He added that consumers and employees alike were excited about the mobile phone.
"Earlier this year, we stated our ambition to become the destination brand of choice for high end mobile users in the UK," stated Mr Alexander.
"With the launch of the iPhone on November 10th we're pleased to be fulfilling that ambition."
Users of iPhones can enjoy a range of applications to inform and entertain them.
Options available at the moment include Stargaze – which provides information about the solar system – and Pianist – a download that enables people to play and compose keyboard tunes.
