A new handset has hit the O2 network today that could tempt people selling used mobiles for cash.
The carrier launched the HTC HD2 this week and drew attention to a range of features that make the device stand out from the crowd, including a 4.3-inch touchscreen described as "massive".
As the first model from the Taiwan-based manufacturer, the device boasts the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, as well as a 1 Ghz processor Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity, as well as a 3.5mm audio socket.
Commenting on the launch, O2's general manager of devices in the UK Steve Alder said: "We are proud to be the home of smartphones and the HTC HD2 adds a new dimension to the range of devices we offer to our customers."
The gadget will join others in the operator's range that include the Apple iPhone 3G S and the recently launched Palm Pre.
