Nokia X Android Phone Listed

Nokia's all-but-confirmed Android mobile phone has appeared in a retail listing, adding further weight to rumours that the handset will launch soon.

The Nokia X appeared on Vietnamese site MaiNguyen, which showed the Google-running handset to sport a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and a five-megapixel camera. However, the big news was that the retail listing confirmed that the smartphone would arrive running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Although the device isn't very high-end, the price meets the specifications and makes it a bit of a bargain for those that are careful with their cash. The listing, which has now been removed from the website, saw the handset priced at just £70.

Evidence suggesting that a Nokia-Android handset is just around the corner, is weighing up as this leak supports one a few days ago. Serial tipster @evleaks took to Twitter claiming the device would have a four-inch WVGA display, a 1,500mAh battery and have six colour variants.
