Nokia unveils affordable Lumia 620 WP8 mobile phone
Nokia has unveiled its newest and most affordable Windows Phone 8 (WP8) handset - the Lumia 620 - which will go on sale for approximately $249 (£155).
The Finnish manufacturer now has a range of devices toting the latest Microsoft firmware, including the mid-range Lumia 820 and high-end Lumia 920.
As with the other two WP8 mobile phones, the 620 will be available in a variety of bright colours, which match the vibrancy of the operating system interface.
A five-megapixel camera will feature on the reverse, and there will also be a front-facing snapper which makes video calls more convenient.
Buyers will be able to store apps, music, video and image files using 8 GB of internal storage, and the Micro SD card slot facilitates a memory expansion of up to 64 GB.
The handset also has Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities, meaning users could make contactless payments and share contact information wirelessly.
