Nokia Offers Exchange On Lumia 900

Nokia has attempted to smooth over the controversial software problem in its latest flagship mobile phone the Lumia 900 by offering a number of options to get an improved device.

Developers of the handset noticed a flaw that could, in some cases, have led to a loss of data connectivity.

In response to this the firm is allowing people to choose the next path they take with the Lumia 900.

People will be able to update their existing device via Zune from April 16th, or they can swap their current device for an updated one that has no software issues.

It had been hoped that the launch of this device would be a way back to the upper echelons of the mobile phone market after a difficult 2011, which saw the firm lose considerable money.

"As a gesture of good will, every individual who has purchased a Nokia Lumia 900 - or who will between now and April 21st - will receive a $100 (£62.70) credit to their AT&T bill," a statement on the firm's website read.
