Nokia N900 May Offer Best Mobile Web Browsing

A new article has looked at an upcoming Nokia device that may interest those looking to sell mobiles they have outgrown.

Earlier this year, the Finnish firm unveiled plans to launch a device that could offer "computer-grade performance" in the form of the N900.

Nokia Conversations, a site dedicated to the latest news and developments from the brand, said anticipation for the model is growing stronger and outlined what buyers could expect from it.

Analysing a promotional video designed to show off the capabilities of the N900, it advised the handset could potentially be "the best pocket device for browsing the web".

This was noted thanks to the clip's highlighting of an open source browsing option, full Flash 9.4 support and a large touchscreen that has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

"Last on the checklist is being able to interact in a more advanced way with the content on-screen, as illustrated when [the demonstrator] presses on a part of the screen to bring up a contextual menu," the site added.

The Nokia N900 was announced at the end of August this year.
