Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 WP8 mobile phones available this week?
Nokia has announced that its much-anticipated Lumia 920 and 820 mobile phones will go on sale in the UK this week.
The devices are powered by the latest Microsoft operating system that was unveiled on October 29th, Windows Phone 8 (WP8).
Both devices have Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, which allows owners to make wireless payments in certain stores.
They also each come in a range of colours, complimenting the vibrant WP8 software which allows Live Tile colours to be customised.
Buyers will be able to download apps from the Windows Store, which has 120,000 tools and games on offer, including Twitter and Angry Birds.
The Finnish manufacturer's higher-end 920 handset has innovative PureView camera technology, which stabilises images to reduce blur in photographs caused by movement.
According to the firm, the 8.7-megapixel camera will also capture "five-times more light than competitor smartphones for bright pictures without flash, even indoors and at night".
A number of colourful accessories are available for the mobile phones, including wireless charger stands and speakers.
