Nokia Lumia 920 And 820 Have Advanced Touchscreen Technology

Nokia recently unveiled its new Lumia 920 and 820 smartphones, which will feature "a new advanced multi-touch experience".

The Lumia 920 is the flagship device, which has a 4.5-inch curved screen. One of the main innovations is the ability to charge wirelessly. The Lumia 820 is a lower-end device, with a smaller screen and a lower-quality camera.

The mobile phones will be the first in the world to use Synaptics technology, which allows users to interact with the touchscreen with nails and gloves. The Finnish company claims that the new screen will also have improved tracking accuracy for "an unmatched user experience".

Many touchscreen-mobile owners currently experience some difficulty using their phone, as capacitive touchscreens used on devices like the Apple iPhone 4S require conduction which gloves, nails and styluses cannot provide.

Nokia has also installed the new phones with a Windows 8 operating system, which is competing with the dominating Google Android and Apple iOS software.
