Nokia Device Ideal For Representing Nokia 3G

One of Nokia's latest entry-level 3G handsets has been chosen to launch the manufacturer in South Korea.

The 6210s was selected to represent the Finnish firm and won praise from a spokesman for the group's Greater China, Japan and Korean operations as potentially being a great device for the region.

Colin Giles, Nokia's senior vice-president for the sector, said the company was proud of the device as it was a well-priced 3G smartphone equipped with a range of features.

"The Nokia 6210s is an ideal device to kick-start Nokia's portfolio in Korea. It is a competitively-priced smartphone with a slide form factor that is very popular," he added.

In addition to its 3G connectivity, the model is fitted with a 3.2-megapixel camera, media player, stereo FM radio and 1GB memory card. It also runs using Symbian S60 smartphone technology.

When the original 6210 was launched in the UK, it also featured GPS navigation and access to Nokia Maps.
