Nokia Applications Could Encourage Recycling Of Old Mobiles

The success of the Nokia Ovi Store, which has recently reported that it is seeing more than one million downloads each day, could encourage consumers to recycle their old mobile phone for cash.

Users could wish to take advantage of a huge range of downloadable apps such as Ovi Maps, which may help people to find their way around more easily.

However, with such a large range of apps available it may be necessary to seek guidance on which are worth the effort.

My Daily App recommends Socially Mobile, which brings together contacts from a range of social networking sites and connects them to a user's phonebook.

This means that when a person calls, the user of the handset is provided with an update on the last status updates from the caller.

Those people looking to fill their spare time could enjoy EDGE - "a highly addictive non-stop puzzle game that works on all Symbian S60 3rd and 5th edition phones" - which costs £3 to download.
