Nokia 5800 'a solid multimedia all-rounder'
One of the latest devices to emerge from Nokia has been put to the test in a new review.
Launched earlier this year, the 5800 XpressMusic represents the Finnish manufacturer's first touchscreen foray into the post-iPhone market and could encourage some to recycle old mobiles in order to buy one.
As such, infoSynch has taken the opportunity to put the model through its paces and concludes it has a number of features worthy of attention.
The sound quality of the handset is praised and the battery life is described as "strong". Music, video, internet and GPS facilities are noted as "solid" and the touchscreen interface also impressed the reviewer.
"It isn't the marvel of design that the Apple iPhone OS represents, but it's certainly more pleasant than using Windows Mobile on an all-touch device," the site added.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic was also one of the firm's first to incorporate its Comes With Music downloading facility.
