Nexus One for Vodafone customers
01/03/2010
Vodafone customers could soon be able to get the hands on the Google Nexus One as the handset is to be made available on a contract through the network, it has been suggested.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Vodafone will be the internet giant's first official link-up in the UK when it is officially launched in April.
Currently consumers could be uncertain about purchasing a Nexus One as the handset is only available for purchase untied to a mobile operator direct from Google, but mobile recycling could soon be an option as the device is set to be made available on a pay-monthly contract.
It is as yet unclear what tariffs the phone will be made available on but the newspaper expects it to be in a similar price range to other high-end smartphones.
Google Earth is now available on all handsets using the Android 2.1 operating system (OS) or higher.
