New Samsung Could Be Reason To Sell An Old Mobile

Consumers looking to upgrade to a new handset such as a Samsung Galaxy Portal may wish to sell an old mobile with Mazuma for cash.

The cash could be used to put towards the device which is to be made available on network operator 3UK for the price of £184 on a Pay as you Go deal.

Alternatively the money could go towards a contract deal, which will set customers back from upwards of £20 per month for 24-months but will see them receive the handset free of charge.

The mobile features an augmented reality application - Layar - which aims to provide users with information about the area they are in such as the location of their nearest cashpoint or coffee shop.

Sylvia Chind, head of branded devices at 3UK, said: "The Samsung Galaxy Portal is all about letting people shape a phone and its functions to match how they want to use it."

Music loving mobile users may wish to opt for the Sony Ericsson Vivaz which comes pre-installed with the Spotify for Symbian application on 3UK.
