New handset boldly goes where Nokia has been before

One of Nokia's latest phones is to feature special edition content that may excite fans of Star Trek.
Timed to coincide with the new film on May 8th - a reboot of the franchise directed by the creator of Lost and Fringe, JJ Abrams - the Finnish manufacturer is to release an updated version of its 5800 XpressMusic.
It is expected that users signing up to the latest contracts from Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile and O2 will be able to get their hands on a limited edition Star Trek model.
The Trekkie version of the 5800 will feature a number of pre-loaded screen savers and wallpapers, as well as eight different intergalactic ring tones and a phaser application.
According to reports, the phone could hit stores on May 1st and according to I4U News is reflective of a growing trend in the industry to tie movies in with the latest devices.
Last year, the phone itself featured in Christopher Nolan's second Batman film, The Dark Knight.
