Motorola Karma focuses on networking
The new Motorola Karma is a handset that aims to please those who like to stay in touch with friends and family using social media, it has been advised.
According to the manufacturer, networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace form a big part of the new handset and easy access to instant messaging services from Yahoo! and Windows Live also feature.
In addition, Motorola has equipped the Karma with a full qwerty keyboard that slides out from underneath the screen of the device - which could also make using such options easier.
Jeff Miller, vice-president of mobile at the company, said modern consumers tend to be more "savvy" about communication and need more than just traditional voice calls and text messaging.
"They want to update their social networking status, instant message multiple friends, make calls and of course text."
Earlier this year, the Motorola Aura was launched - complete with a marketing campaign that featured England footballer David Beckham.
