Mobile trade-in could lead consumers to iPad 2
People with a mobile phone they wish to trade-in may find they are soon able to join the tablet revolution with the new Apple iPad 2.
Joe Minihane, writing for T3, suggests more details about the rumoured device have surfaced on Japanese site Mac Ockakara.
He summarises that while the display screen will remain the same size as on the original iPad, the model will actually be smaller.
Designers have managed to incorporate a less capacious bezel, while the back will be so flat it can sit perfectly on a table or other surface.
Mr Minihane attaches credibility to the reports as earlier leaked images show a "gaping hole" next to the space for a dock connector, which the latest information claims is in place in order to hold a new speaker system.
The original iPad was released in the UK in April and recorded sales figures of three million within 80 days of its launch.
