Mobile Trade In Can Lead To Enhanced Shopping Options

People who trade in a mobile phone and switch to one of the latest smartphones or tablet devices may find they use their new handset for shopping purposes.

According to research by JiWire, some 79 per cent of individuals who use their model on the go are comfortable making purchases with it.

Being away from home or a workplace is becoming increasingly common, so splashing out on an item from a mobile is now seen as the norm in some parts of society.

"As mobile technology evolves and people begin to rely more on their smartphones and tablets, location-based services and content have truly become a necessity for the on-the-go audience," explained David Staas, senior vice-president of marketing at JiWire.

Those who would like to use such technology to shop from anywhere at any time may find they first have to sell their used phones to make way for a hi-tech product.

Roddy McLean, marketing director at Crucial.com, recently asserted the opinion that as advanced as smartphones may become, they will never replace computers.
