Mobile Sellers Of The Future Promised Touchscreens They Can Feel

The presence of touchscreens is sure to be a huge factor in the mobile markets of the future and may play a key role in used phone sales.

Matt Brian, mobile editor at thenextweb.com, has predicted that one of the upcoming advances in the industry will be the arrival of displays that consumers can feel.

He noted that individual elements on the phone will be picked out by touch alone, despite sitting on a flat surface.

"[It will give] users the opportunity to feel the photos they are viewing or receive feedback from a virtual character in a game by stroking the screen or feeling for different patterns," Mr Brian stated.

The expert went on to suggest that it could have a particularly significant role to play in the lives of blind and visually-impaired consumers.

Dan Grabham, deputy editor of techradar.com, recently advised people to look out for the release of organic light-emitting diode technology.
