Mobile recycling could be an option to get a new phone
Consumers could soon find themselves with a range of new options from the mobile network Vodafone, if recent reports are anything to go by.
Selling an old mobile phone could provide people with cash to put towards the purchase of a new device.
As of next month it is expected that customers will be able to opt for deals for the HTC Legend, HTC Desire and the much-anticipated Google Nexus One.
Although it not yet clear at what cost the handsets will be made available it is widely thought that users can expect to pay somewhere in the region of £35 per month.
The HTC Desire features a 3.7-inch display, a 1-Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for fast internet usage and a five megapixel camera that could allow for high-quality pictures to be uploaded with ease.
Orange and 3UK have also said they will also be stocking the HTC Desire from next month.
Google has recently suggested that the desktop personal computer will be redundant in three years as smartphone use increases.
