Mobile recycling could allow for a handset upgrade
Consumers could soon be provided with several new options for upgrade when Virgin Mobile launches four new mobile phones.
Mobile recycling could provide people with cash to put towards the LG InTouch Max, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy Portal - all part of the mobile network's expanding range of Android devices.
A range of contracts are available to choose from for the LG InTouch Max, with the cheapest starting at £22 per month with the handset being provided for free.
The Samsung Galaxy Portal is available for the same contract price.
Competition is heating up between mobile networks as 3UK recently unveiled a range of new smartphones including handsets from Samsung and Sony Ericsson.
Anthony Keyworth, director of product marketing for Orange UK, recently highlighted some of the appeal offered by new phones.
He said: "The latest smartphones running on Android and iPhone and touchscreens make interaction much easier."
