Mobile phone owners 'struggle to remember numbers'
Mobile phone users are increasingly relying on their devices to recall information that may previously have been remembered in their mind.
Research by life assistance firm CPP shows 23 million Brits cannot remember their partner's mobile number, while 30 million would be unable to contact their best friend should their handset's address book vanish.
The company's Michael Lynch says: "Our research shows that people are so heavily reliant on their mobile phones that they'd be lost without them."
One way to store the numbers of loved ones and other contacts safely is to invest in a new mobile phone with a large amount of memory.
It could be financially worthwhile to trade-in used phones for cash with Mazuma in order to fund the purchase of a latest model.
Among the devices new on the market recently are the LG Viewty Snap GM360 and Apple's iPhone 4, while some mobile phone fans may be eagerly awaiting the upcoming release of the Nokia N8.
