LTE Mobile Phone Contracts Could Be Cheaper With Three

Gadget lovers could take advantage of mobile phone Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology for less with a contract from Three.

EE is the only telecommunications company to provide British consumers with access to superfast 4G at the moment, but an airwave auction means it will be coming to more operators soon.

Three claims that it will allow customers to connect to the network at no extra cost, meaning users could pay 3G prices for 4G speeds.

Chief executive Dave Dyson said: "We don’t want to limit Ultrafast services to a select few based on a premium price and we’ve decided our customers will get this service as standard."

Owners of modern LTE handsets like the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 will therefore be able to browse briskly, stream smoothly and download without delay for less while on-the-go.

Users will be able to check that they are within their contracted data limits by downloading the Three app from the Windows Phone Store, App Store, Nokia Store, BlackBerry World or Google Play.
