LGs GT405 Could Persuade Individuals To Trade In Their Old Mobile

LG's GT405 may be the ideal replacement for someone who wants to trade in their old mobile to get a handset with a good camera.

According to a review on CNET UK, the phone has a "decent" five-megapixel snapper.

The author said the camera application gives users a fair amount of control over colour settings and white balance.

And the snapper also has a timer function and "photos taken outdoors in good light look pretty impressive, with the camera capturing sharp detail and surprisingly accurate colours".

The reviewer praised the Muvee Studio editing application, which gives users the opportunity to edit photos straight away and turn them into a slide show.

And the camera is able to shoot videos at QVGA resolution.

Individuals will be able to multitask with the GT405 by hitting the task-switcher button, as this will suspend an app rather than completely close it down, saving time when the user returns to it.

LG recently announced it will be launching three new handsets.

The range features the Wink, Wink Style and Wink 3G and the mobiles are aimed at individuals new to touchscreen phones and the younger market.
