LG KM900 Arena tops one million sales

Many of those looking for the latest phones appear to be considering the benefits of the LG KM900 Arena, if a new report is to be believed.

The South Korean manufacturer behind the multimedia handset announced that the gadget had now clocked up over one million sales since it was introduced to the world earlier this year.

Showcased at the Mobile World Congress and brought to Europe in March 2009, the device is now available in silver, black, grey, baby pink and aqua blue.

The model was also praised for making a significant contribution to the five million plus sales LG has made on the continent during the second quarter of 2009.

Company president and chief executive officer Dr Skott Ahn said: "We will keep going out of our way to gain their insights and reflect their needs in our products."

The LG Arena was recently unveiled as the Green Mobile Phone 2009/10 at the European Imaging and Sound Association Awards.
